I know I'm 7 followers off 50 but I'm going to start my giveaway now as I just can't wait any longer!!! My first giveaway, woohoo!!!

Posh new specs!...

Me and Deakon have been super busy today! He went to his football training this morning then we went home for a bit of lunch and then took a walk into town.

Deak is very into science, nature, history and all things "geeky" (his words, not mine!) so we went to the library to get him some new books to read. These were his choices:

The Titanic

World War II facts

Dr Who

Dr Who (again)

and a funny children's book (the only one out of the lot from the kids section!)

Its great that he loves to read about stuff like this but not so great when he asks me questions I do not know the answer to!!! Hes more knowledgeable than me and he's only 9!!

After the library we took a look around the local museum - he thinks its wonderful that so much history comes from our little city!!

After that we had half an hour to kill before we both had our eyes tested so we popped into the Cornish Pasty cafe for a cuppa and a doughnut!! Yum Yum!!

Off then to the opticians and it turns out I need a stronger prescription for my VDU glasses (hazard of working in a call centre) and Deak needs his first pair of glasses for reading and school work. He was quite chuffed as he thinks they make him look more geeky now!! Bizarre child!

So here he is with his new specs looking chuffed to beans!!

Almost time for a Giveaway!!!!

12 more followers and I'm going to be doing a giveaway...I'm all excited!!!

I have been hand making some items to put in the giveaway and there are a few extra bits too.....it will all be revealed soon!!!

Hopefully it wont take me too long to gain that extra 12......maybe I can draw in the crowd with this awesome old photo of me and my sister (I'm on the right)!!!!.............Hehe!!

Its a shame I cant get away with wearing dungarees and red wellies anymore!

Day at the farm....

Hello peeps!!!

Wasn't the weekend fab? Beautiful weather! So beautiful that me and the family went to the farm to see the animals. (I got sunburned tho!)

Its Walnut Tree Farm Park and is the best farm in our area. They have a little petting area with rabbits in and they have pigs, sheep, donkeys, ponies, horses, llamas, reindeer, alpacas and huge cows!! The play area for the kids is amazing and and they do pony and tractor rides for a small fee. 

Deaks favourite part is the Go-Kart track!!

Heart swap parcel...

This week I received my heart swap parcel from the lovely bibbitybob!!

It was full of lovely things wrapped up in gorgeous paper...

A gorgeous beaded heart, a fabric heart, a badge, notebook, passport cover, bubbles and some yummy love heart sweets!!

FABULOUS!!!!

Happy mothers day...

Happy mothers day to my fabulous Mum and all my Mum-friends, hope you have had a lovely day!!

I had a lovely bunch of flowers and a handmade card off my little doodlebug and he woke me up at 7.15am (!!!) with a hug! Actually he climbed on top of my bed and squished me until I woke up!! It was cute!!

The last few days have been nice and dry so my Mum helped me weed the garden and we put the water fountain in a better place (It was stuck on the grass and didn't look right!)

I've taken some pretty pictures, I love taking photos!!......

This yellow flower is creeping over my fence from one of the neighbours but I think its so pretty that Ive let it just grow.
