The rain is dripping off my nose.......

So, Monday was a little bit rainy ;)

There's not much to do on a rainy Easter Bank Holiday but feeling a bit crazy we decided to go to...........

Barry Island!!!!

Walked across the beach, and up a small hill to the edge of the coast and got absolutely soaking!!! 

One of the best, random afternoons I've had in a while

Happy Easter everyone, hope you have all had a lovely day.

I have had a nice relaxing day, breakfast in bed, eating chocolate, a lovely roast dinner and then a hot bubbly bath!

I had this gorgeous Tinkerbell egg off my sister, brother in law and niece....its far to nice to eat!!!

And I had an Egghead off my parents...............

....which I ate for my breakfast ;) Nom Nom!!

I am feeling like quite a fatty today!! But I keep telling myself that it's OK as I have started swimming again, so I will be able to burn off all this chocolate this week (hopefully)!!!

My niece also enjoyed the masses of chocolate and after dinner asked for 3 of her mini bunny chocolates, then changed her mind and asked for a "really big egg", so we compromised and gave her half an egg!

Deakon also had a good day, he managed to get about 8 eggs, plus smaller ones from an egg hunt my parents did.....I'll be bribing some of these eggs off him at some point....bad mum!!!

Day off work again tomorrow so I'm going to Hobbycraft for some bits to make some birthday cards and some more wool for a blanket I'm making...I've learnt to crochet, so I'm making granny squares at the moment!!

Happy daisy....

My friend in work gave me this daisy to make me smile the other day at work, I was having a bad day :(

 I love daisies, they are my most favourite flower and it did cheer me up.

Its crazy that Spring has come around so fast, the weather has been beautiful but not sure that will last much longer (according to Mr Weatherman) but hopefully, fingers crossed, this is one of the times he is wrong!

I'm off work for the next 2 days, nice to have a bit of rest, so will be mostly doing absolutely nothing!!! Bliss!!!

Happy mother's day......

I hope all you yummy Mummys had a lovely relaxing day!

I took my Mum and Deakon up to the Wetlands for a walk and a coffee. It's such a lovely place to go, even when it is grey and rainy like this.....

Deakon bought me a new pair of PJs for Mothers Day. It may be bordering on crazy the amount of PJs I have now. Love them all though!

Yesterday I had a parcel waiting for me when I got home. The lovely Christine (Beans Mummy) had sent me my Snail Mail parcel.....all the way from Australia.

I had a gorgeous notebook (to add to my growing collection), a cute necklace, buttons, and a letter..... Thank you so much, Christine, I loved it and I am posting yours this week.

Smash it up!...

I finally did it....I went and bought myself a Smash book!

I have been very envious of a few people who have one, so I treated myself to the pink one!!

I was devastated when I came home to a postman's card saying he had tried to deliver it, so I left early for work the next morning to pick it up from the depot. I had to queue for half an hour!

But its here now and I love it. I've started on the first page already! (I just have to save up for the others now!!)

Sunshine weekend...

What lovely weather we've had, so nice that on Saturday and today me and Deakon went out for some fresh air!

On Saturday we went to St Fagans which is a Welsh National History Museum. It is an open air Museum but has little houses that you can go around and the St Fagans Castle and grounds. It quite big so we had a bit of a trek around it! They also have a small village that has an old style bakery that sells cheesy bread and scones and also a sweet shop - which of course Deakon went in!

The weather was gorgeous so I took some photos along the way...

And then today we went for a walk at the Wetlands with my sister, brother-in-law and niece. I love it there. Its about a 10-15 minute drive from our house and its so peaceful and quiet and you can walk through to the Lighthouse by the sea wall. You can chose whether to do long walk or a short walk past the Lighthouse and through the woods back to the main entrance. We do the short walk as Emmy only has little legs!....

All settled in...

The big move took place on Saturday....it was a tiring day! 

But with all my pre-packing and making sure everything was downstairs ready to just be put on the van, it didn't really take long to shift everything to the storage unit.

Big massive thank you to my parents, sister and brother-in-law who helped me, couldn't have done it without you.

Pretty impressive I think, as we managed to fit a huge 3 seater settee in there too!!! (hidden at the back!)

So, me and Deak are all moved in with my Mum and Dad. It's nice to be here, and Deak loves it here too, (nice to be looked after for a little bit as well!!!.)

My friend, Nichola has also been looking after me. She took me to the Celtic Manor for an afternoon tea.....it was delicious!!!

And Deak has been showing off his new role at school...

Prefect!!! And when I asked him what he has to do, he said "Boss people about"! 

He's growing up too fast, will be in High School this September!! Where did my baby go?!!!
